Our printing history began in 1939 when my grandfather, Vito Pidi, began his career in printing. After working many years as a pressman doing commercial work in large printing plants, he started his own print shop in 1970. In 1972, my father, Louis Pidi, began his apprenticeship to learn the trade. Over the next 40 years, he perfected his art as a master printer, from pre-presswork, to multi-color presswork, to bindery. His body of work includes art gallery reproduction, advertising, and business/personal stationery.
After earning a BFA degree in Graphic Design, I discovered my love for stationery design and letterpress printing while working for luxury stationery brand. With the desire to create custom, hand-crafted invitation designs, we purchased a beautiful antique Chandler & Price 8x12 Letterpress and established Jeanette Pidi Design in Bergen County, New Jersey. I began my apprenticeship as a third-generation printer in hopes of carrying down the legacy of my father and grandfather.

Hello there! My name is Jeanette Pidi. As a freelance designer focusing on stationery and invitations, my goal is to make your vision a reality. Each design is tailored specifically to our client's needs with expertise in illustration, watercolor, hand lettering, and calligraphy. From business and personal stationery, to event and wedding invitations I aim to make your project as unique as you are.
Our Letterpress Printer
Hey there! My name is Louis Pidi. With over 40 years of printing experience in digital, offset, and letterpress printing, I strive to elevate my trade to a fine art. Beginning with close consultation with our designer, right up until finishing the final product, each piece is handled with meticulous attention to detail. This experience ensures our clients receive a final product with even impression and spot on colors.

Chandler & Price
The Chandler & Price is our workhorse. It’s an antique 1920’s letterpress and is where we do most of our stationery printing.
Little Giant
The Little Giant is our large format letterpress. It’s perfect for large prints and longer runs, as well as scoring.
Heidelberg Windmill
The Heidelberg Windmill is our newest letterpress, inherited from my alma mater—Montclair State University— in 2018.
